It’s super tough, making it the ideal adhesive for bonding dissimilar materials. MetlWeld exhibits elastic properties, while remaining rigid, bonds to stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, copper, brass, glass, ceramic, neoprene rubber, and most porous surfaces and can be machinable when fully cured. With a convenient 1:1 mixing radio, and a long, 3 hour working time, this epoxy adhesive is designed for interior and exterior applications. At 70°F, MetlWeld develops good properties within 16 hours. When clamping/securing the components, it’s important to use only enough pressure to close the joint. Excessive pressure will starve the joint of epoxy, resulting in a weak bond. Cooler temperatures slow the cure rate. MetlWeld cures to an opaque, gray appearance. Mix 1 part Resin (Part A) with 1 part Hardener (Part B) then combine until the mixture is uniform in color. The pot life of MetlWeld is dictated by the batch size and ambient temperature. Small batches have a longer pot life than larger batches. Apply a liberal coat of MetlWeld to both surfaces. For cleaning, use lacquer thinner or denatured alcohol, but cured product can be removed with paint stripper.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
