The Fray & Keeper of the Light If you walk outside and look up, you may see the Fray Solar System. Look for the one with blast craters on each of its five planets. Those five planets circle a Glass G star. Four of the planets are still inhabited. The 5th one was once inhabited. It was quite a beautiful world until the Battlewagons dropped their weapons of mass destruction, leaving behind a world burned down to rock. Its atmosphere all but gone. It’s millions of Fray dead. The war that turned this once lovely planet to stone was called, the Great War. The remaining four worlds also heavily bombed left millions of citizens dead and its planets cratered. Where once graceful towered cities stood, only small hamlets survived. Depopulated, the few larger towns that survived became feudal cities. Governments followed with mayors becoming kings and their mates called queens. Their armies still fight with sword and bow for diminished resources and land. Book one welcomes you to the Worlds of Fray. The beginning of “The keepers of the Light Series.” It introduces us to the Fray and Effkin. Our story starts 340 years after the great war with a young Fray girl named Alise, a province called Echester and a young Fray King named Robles.
