This dystopian, hard science fiction novel pushes the bounds of morality when a single person gains control of AI and all the data. Vincent Napoli is a data scientist working at DATA 1, a faction of the new world order named, WORLD 1, that saved humanity from the SILENT WAR and total anarchy. WORLD 1 is led by the DATA King and his AI Quantum computer (the predictor). The predictor can foresee the future years in advance, giving the DATA King great power and foresight. Vincent is a daydreamer in a society of hopeless individuals without free speech. Society has become scared their words will lead to another SILENT WAR or their eventual disappearance. Vincent and his mother are the last of their family. Their relationship is crucial to the decisions Vincent has to make when he is promoted and given a special assignment.
