Our story begins... From 1810 to 1815, the new United States was a nation defined by tension and uncertainty. Political factions, much like today's, clashed over trade, federal authority, divisions, diversity, and direction. Many citizens felt constant fear, of outsiders and foreign influence. Division ran deep. Communities questioned loyalties. Amid fear and isolation, resilience emerged. Every raft down a wild river was a testament to courage in the face of constant threat. Under the shadow of the approaching War of 1812, a group of people, sharing great anticipation, various backgrounds, unique experiences, and from all around the nation, meet on the edge of a river, and embark on a journey to a wilderness fort. During this time of uncertainty, and division, they exude raw endurance, unity, showing a heart to lift up, serve, and strengthen everyone they meet. They must keep the Republic! Learning to better unify and row as one, this small group of patriots, fight against the elements, apathy, dark forces, strong currents, and the enemy. Along their journey through the wilderness, they experience a spiritual awakening that will change their destiny. The freshly ignited flame within them, lights the path, and a newly-discovered focus for unifying, strengthening and encouraging, the three generations, past, present, and future. Becoming "Torch-Bearers" for all people, the fabric of a nation, and keeping the Republic, now defines them.
