Trap–Neuter–Return or Trap–Neuter–Return, commonly known as TNR , is a method for humanely and effectively manage free-roaming domestic cats. The process involves humanely live trapping the cats, having them spayed or neutered, ear-tipped for identification and, if possible, vaccinated, then releasing them back into their territory or if friendly, TNR rescue groups work tirelessly to find loving homes for these cats and kittens.
