After the replacement of the electronic throttle body,The vehicle on-board computer must relearn the new throttle plate idle postion.
Otherwise, after repair, the engine may have a wrong/fluctuating idle speed or a “Check engine” light may still appear on the dashboard.
Many applications require a necessary ETB relearn procedure according to each manufacturer.Some vehicles may have a relearn option with the scan tool.
Therefore, it is recommended to install by professional technicians.
