"Talaash" is a collection of 24 well acclaimed Hindi short stories authored by Ashok Patwari over the last three decades. These stories presents us with characters from an array of physical backgrounds and a gamut of mental make-ups, and treats us to the interesting vignettes of practical psychology, by deftly and subtly penetrating the cosmetic layers and identifying the common thread of humanity. Ashok Patwari is a well known short story writer in Hindi, Urdu and English. His collection of Urdu short stories 'Kuch Lamhe Kuch Saaye' was awarded by Delhi Urdu Academy in 2005.
