Tales of a Chahta Girl: Growing Up in Indian Territory is based on the true memories of a little girl named Annie that grew up in the late 1800's in Indian Territory. The west was still wild and the territory was young. It was not an easy place to grow up in. Her tales are that of sickness, war, and the cultural events that surrounded her.
