This book will validate for children their angry emotions and teach them strategies to control their anger. This picture book invites readers to remain curious and open to new ways of managing their anger. Across these colorful pages, Charlie asks trusted adults (and his big brother) how they have learned to not pounce when angry. Readers follow along as Charlie tries out these new techniques. This book is a collaborative effort between a mother/daughter team of Rose Edmond, MS Ed and Nicole Graham, M.D. Mrs. Edmond has 30 plus years of experience in the field of education with a primary focus on Early Childhood Education and a Specialization in Reading. Dr. Graham, a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and a parent herself, is versed in the evaluation and treatment of children facing a breadth of challenges including emotional dysregulation and aggressive behavior. Recognizing a universal need for children to learn coping techniques, Mrs. Edmond and Dr. Graham authored this book to provides parents/caregivers a fun, accessible way to introduce their child/ren to dealing with anger.
