Teaching Reading and Writing Through Children's Literature is a guide that enhances children's enjoyment and understanding of books while focusing on skills instruction. Although there are numerous books published in relation to this topic, this manual is unique in that the exercises are designed for use with any book, rather than assigning a particular title to a lesson. Specific skills instruction, higher order thinking, and reading comprehension are all emphasized. Lesson activities are designed for students in grades K-8. Jack Bradley was Literary Manager of the National Theatre from 1995 to 2007. There he advised on the repertoire for Richard Eyre, Trevor Nunn and finally Nick Hytner, specialising in the development of New Writing. Since then he has worked as a freelance dramaturg and playwright. He is currently Literary Associate to Sonia Friedman Productions in the West End and an Associate at the Tricycle Theatre where he commissioned and curated The Great Game.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
