He has taught in Westminster Public Schools (WPS)―a pioneer in personalized competency-based education (PCBE)―for thirteen years, where his innovative style quickly brought him to the forefront of the PCBE movement. Within WPS, Seth has been a leader in the development of competency-based tools, practices, and procedures, and has represented the district on an international scale. He has advised, consulted, and conducted trainings for districts and organizations around the world in advocacy of PCBE. In February of 2019, Seth became the first teacher to achieve Level 3 in the Marzano Resources High Reliability Teacher™ program. He has written for numerous blogs and has been featured on podcasts as an expert in the field of competency-based teaching. He is a regular presenter at the WPS Summit, a national competency-based education conference held annually in Colorado.
