Kevin Abbott was born in San Antonio, Texas, and raised in an affluent, loving family where faith, structure, and stability were the foundation of daily life. With a highly disciplined father who served as a Full Bird Colonel in the United States Air Force, a successful CPA for a mother, and a sister who became an attorney, Kevin’s early years were shaped by privilege, support, and strong moral expectations. But beneath the surface of this picture-perfect upbringing, Kevin wrestled with insecurity, anger, and an inner rebellion that slowly pulled him into addiction, criminal activity, violence, and a self-destructive lifestyle that spanned decades. What began as experimentation quickly spiraled into a long battle with cocaine, Ecstasy, steroids, incarceration, homelessness, and near-death experiences — including shootings, violent assaults, and catastrophic injuries that should have taken his life.
