This is certainly true of Lilly Tartikoff. I don't know whether Lilly always knew the value of teamwork, but I suspect she learned it early. Lilly was once a professional ballet dancer. If dancers don't work together, their performances never reach the caliber of Lilly's. Beginning at age seven, she spent ten hours a day, six days a week practicing or performing ballet. As a result, she became a member of the New York City Ballet Company from 1971 to 1980. They soon became friends. Then they began to see each other romantically. They were married in 1982. And that started a whole new life for Lilly.
