Lucky Duck could not believe his fortune when he landed on the dash of Rebecca's ruby-red Rubicon! This first book in the series is about how Lucky Duck became the leader of his flock of friends that roams around the country in their Jeep Wrangler, experiencing all sorts of fun adventures! What a blessing it would be to discover that our destiny in life is fulfilled in our ability to make others smile! I'm a children's book author located in Rockport & the Hill Country of Central Texas.  As an avid jeep owner and ducking enthusiast, I absolutely love to take off in my jeep named Tortuga (my spirit animal) for adventures.  I'm always thrilled to hear from fellow enthusiasts who share the love of jeeping and the fun of ducking.   My first book " The Adventures of Lucky Duck " in the series,  Lucky Duck and Friends' Jeep Adventures,  is particularly special to me because it captures the joy of these experiences from the unique perspective of Lucky Duck.  It's a fun and heartwarming story for children, and I believe it also resonates with the inner child in all of us who love the freedom of the open road and the excitement of new adventures. DeDe Gale was born and bred in the great state of Texas.  She spends her time between the Texas Hill Country and Rockport Texas with her wonderful husband of thirty years and their pack of canine companions!  She received her master's degree in public administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice administration from Wayland Baptist University. After a rewarding career in the criminal justice field, it was time to let her inner child out to play.  She was inspired to write her first children's book from the colorful display of rubber ducks that live on the dash of her Jeep Wrangler.  Their adorable personalities come to life in her series of books centered around the popular jeep ducking craze, spreading like wildfire across the country. DeDe enjoys a multitude of hobbies, including fishing, reading, and swimming, or just about any adventure that leads to fun!  Seeing the world from the front seat of her Jeep Wrangler named Tortuga is what it is all about.  Life is best shared with family and friends, which she is gratefully blessed with an abundance of.
