In Book 2, we rejoin Victoria Frances Butterworth, age 10, and her ever-loving companion and cousin, Marshall Aamen Preston, soon to be 8 years old. Another great adventure looms as Victoria had a strange feeling in her stomach that something exciting was going to happen today at the Market! Among others, they meet Dover, Apollo and Lubanzi, who ensure the cousins have a day full of excitement and adventures! And what's up with the strange bird lady who looks so much like Nannie? Magic and adventure are never far behind Victoria and Marshall! Somehow, this trip to the Market would again showcase Vic and Marsh’s sense of quick thinking and swift action as they rush to rescue their disadvantaged and lonely talking (wildlife) critter friends. Marshall also learns a thing or two about himself; about belief and trust in your own abilities, even when you think you can’t do something. Try it anyway; you just might enjoy it!
