A new side of JoFel, a part he didn't even know was in him, gets revealed when he fights this evil force alone. Cedric stands alone against evil spirits bent on killing Amorg, Ilies and Cedric. The story starts to take off as the plotline gains momentum and the group faces a primordial evil. JoFel learns very important aspects of his past, and the group learns about his new found abilities. Life becomes very hectic for our four heroes, and Amorg is left badly wounded as a fire rages around him and Ilies. Ancient's Gift: Part 2 JoFel becomes mortally injured protecting his friends. The band of friends is faced with peril as a war party rides down on them. Cedric faces a crisis of faith as members of the group are interrogated. Ilies drawn back into her past in horrifying detail. Someone new is drawn into the group, and is forced to choose between duty and a greater cause. Evil creatures attack during the night, and the group faces an uncertain situation. The alarm must be raise across the land, and the combined forces of each race need to be rallied if there is hope of stopping the evil plans to destroy all life. Amorg's past is revealed, and clues about another's past start to take shape. Life becomes very hard for the group in this part of their story, as a net of betrayal is cast upon them. The members of the group will come against a situation that challenge their very perception of reality. Ancient's Gift: Part 3 Held captive, the group struggles against monsters only to be captured by the locals. A great city is thrown into turmoil, its people enslaved and forced into a nightmare of an existence. Time goes by slowly as the group plans their escape and liberation of the locals. Amorg is driven to the point of loosing his sanity, JoFel looses contact with his dragon half. Saran and Ilies fight to protect the innocence of young girls from brutes who would cause them harm, while Cedric is drawn into his past way of life. Treachery attempts to tear the group apart as evil takes over both the greedy and those who seem innocent. Love is born and love is destroyed, and one remains a helpless prisoner to powerful dark forces. Part three of The Ancient's Gift takes a dark turn, and the reader is drawn into the more macabre side of life in this time period. Hardship and loss, pain and strife rule as our heroes struggle to warn the land of the coming evil.
