A happily ever after with some extra Cajun flair, featuring two bloodhounds who look rejection in the eye and continue to dream and dare. Guaranteed to be Tabasco Kickin’, Crawfish Lickin’ Good Time! The B Team sets out with two brothers, Bruno and Bo, seeking to follow in the footsteps of their legendary police dog dad. But, there are two obstacles standing in the way of their dreams— the brothers cannot smell, and their ears point straight in the air rather than drooping low like most hound dogs. They endure teasing from classmates, leading them to feel self-conscious about their differences rather than embracing them. To prove their abilities to the Trooper Academy, the brothers decide to keep their unusual characteristics secret until they can be judged on merit rather than appearance. Luckily, the trooper hat allows their ears to appear normal for the time being. During training, they face an array of tests both written and physical. Bruno and Bo perform exceptionally well in both areas but are halted by the final Skunk Sniff challenge in which they are found out. All their hard work is overshadowed, and the brothers are kicked out of the Academy. Down but not out, the boys follow their dream via an alternate route— the private sector. Determination lifted Bruno and Bo’s Heavy Jowls. Their ears perked higher too. For a dream is not a dream, if you have to hide what makes you, YOU. Their unique abilities allow them to find success on their own. They become the toast of New Orleans after saving Mardi Gras from the villainous Toothpick Charlie (a conniving Nutria Rat) and solve the case of the missing golden fiddle. In the end, the good times soar along with the brother's ears. And the streets are once again filled with laughter, music, and dance all thanks to two special brothers the Academy didn’t give a chance. Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!
