INTRODUCTION The Bipolar WAVES Workbook has three main goals, to help people with Bipolar Disorder (BD), tell my bipolar story, and voice my concerns about the future of our nation. The primary goal of the WAVES Workbook is to help people with BD The Bipolar WAVES Stress Chart in Appendix A is used to "Find your Bipolar Stress Zone." I named the chart WAVES to represent the never-ending cycles or waves of mania and depression found in most cases of BD. The WAVES Chart is used to identify and determine the chance of a serious BD episode or, even worse outcome, suicide. The second goal of this workbook is to tell my story. My story is told in Chapter 2 and is over 350 pages and has 15 stages. Each stage has sub-headings. You can skip over sub-headings of my story if you have little or no interest—for example, sub-headings about UFOs, politics, or our camping trips. However, I strongly encourage people, especially young people recently diagnosed with BD to consider reading certain parts of my story. Specifically, sub-headings dealing with childhood sexual abuse, emotional abuse, betrayal, abandonment, amnesia, addictions, and unworthiness. Of course, don't forget the sub-headings dealing with the stresses of living with a Bipolar Disorder (BD). My just another bipolar story in Chapter 2 can be bypassed and go directly to Chapter 3. However, understanding how my brother and I survived for over 75 years with BD may encourage other people to get help early on. Both my brother Stu and I not get diagnosed with BD until around midlife or about 50 years of age. Encouraging people to get help early on Encouraging people to get help early on in life is one of the main goals of this workbook. Although this workbook follows the lives of my brother and me, our story is from my point of view. Therefore, I am solely responsible for its content. In addition to living with bipolar, I also lived over four decades in a state of amnesia. Chapter 1 is about how I developed The Bipolar WAVES Stress Chart or WAVES Chart over several years. The WAVES Chart lists about 70 abnormal stressful life situations, conditions, and events unique to anyone with BD. The WAVES Chart is an essential part of this workbook. Chapter 3 is how to use the WAVES Chart. Chapters 4 to 7 give four examples of people living with BD. Chapter 8 covers how to find your own BD stress zone. Finally, Chapter 9 lists my BD stress zone and ways I cope with BD. The third main goal of this workbook is to voice my concerns about our nations future On this path, I have some dire predictions regarding the fate of our nation. This path has forced me to look at our nation's history and the world. Following this path, I discovered our nation's short history involving wars, drugs, immigration, corruption, politics, and the pandemic. I also found little-known emergency laws of our government that could end in its destruction from within. For years I have been very concerned about the growing political division in our nation. Lately, I have concluded we are at war with the pandemic and in a conflict within our country and other hostile nations worldwide. Another path I have followed is nature's role in living on planet Earth I believe our nation will not survive unless we follow the fundamental laws of Mother Nature. These three paths will converge to arrive at my dire prediction regarding our nation's future. I also have an opinion about extraterrestrials or ETs Oh, and finally, I want to voice my thoughts on why ETs are visiting planet Earth and their role in the future of the human race.
