JoAnne goes on to lead the housing finance group at Credit Suisse First Boston and become the first worldwide managing director in public finance at that firm. She balances career and family while working at several smaller firms outside of New York until she returns to Wall Street at JP Morgan where she receives good reviews and good bonuses but is eventually let go by a hostile boss based on a fabricated employee review. JoAnne Kennedy was an investment banker in housing finance for more than thirty-five years, working at four major Wall Street banks and several regional firms as well as being a consultant for the World Bank in Turkey after she retired. She lived in New Canaan, Connecticut for thirty years and now resides in Essex, Connecticut with her husband. She has one son who is a nurse and lives in Columbia, South Carolina.
