Ralph, the subject of this collection of stories, is a most unusual character. He was born out of an interest in our local Sasquatch legends and was initially portrayed in early blog posts as a common Bigfoot of the Pacific Northwest. But he couldn’t stay there. He began to wander--not away from his territory, but beyond being fearsome and irrational as Bigfoot is usually presented. With each episode his wisdom and love shine more brightly. As Ralph evolved, a magical world began to grow up around him, his friends, and his family in the great Northwestern Forest. This unique cast of characters exists in a world apart, impossible and yet so real, full of oddities, homely virtues, and fantastical adventures.
