Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be another animal? This is the story of a boy who, more than anything, wants to know what it’s like to be a Bobcat. One magical evening, the Wise Old Bobcat grants his wish. Together, they set off on an adventure, where the Wise Old Bobcat teaches the boy how to use his newfound Bobcat senses. What lessons and perils await the boy as he learns to use his new powers to reveal the secrets of the forest? Dr. Shauna Weyrauch is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Evolution, Ecology & Organismal Biology at The Ohio State University at Newark. She leads a long-term trail camera study of Bobcats in eastern Ohio (“Project Wild Coshocton”) and enjoys sharing her passion for wildlife conservation with her students.
