My Great Grandfather started several businesses and I wanted to honor him with this story. Edward Andrés Dennis is a Mexican-American Author/Illustrator with Tohono O'odham and Guarijio roots. Before becoming an Author Edward worked as a Special Education teacher in inner city Phoenix at PESD #1. His background in education laid the foundation for his desire to pursue children's literature. Edward is the son of farmworkers and immigrants.
