An Autobiography about two brothers that were separated at an early age when one is kidnapped. It is the story of the two brothers as they grew up separately. How the mother and the remaining son traveled around the United States searching for the lost child. The brothers strength is drawn from a long family history of survival under adverse conditions. Our great grandfather was commissioned a lieutenant in the Civil War and after several years joined the Medical Corps, there he met a nurse who was to become our Great Grandmother. His son our grandfather became a doctor and graduated from the George Washington School of Medicine in 1905 and ended up practicing medicine in Gulfport, Mississippi, where he died in 1908.The younger brother ended up working for NASA as an Software specialist for the Space Shuttle. While the older brother worked in the following jobs: U.S. Navy, Oceanographer, Arctic Weather Station Electronics Technician and a Natural Gas Meter Technician. As our grandmother was born in the South she loved Southern cooking as I inherited her cookbook, a number of her recipes have, been included in this book.
