After suffering years of physical and mental abuse by her father, Susan Hathaway grew up knowing monsters were real. But nothing could have prepared her for the devastating murder of her mother at the hands of her father when she was fourteen. In the wake of tragic loss, separation from her siblings, depression, anxiety, PTSD and countless emotional trials in the aftermath, Susan discovers the inner strength to ultimately be a survivor. "Whether on or off the stage, people saw her as a talented and beautiful woman who lit up every room and the hearts of everyone she encountered," "It's my memoir about what I experienced, through my eyes, what I saw happen to my family, how I was able to work through so many different things to get to where I am today," Hathaway-Saurman said.
