Set in an alternate world where transgender people start spontaneously transforming into their identified sex during puberty. In this world a young boy named Jamie was always just a normal boy wanting to be a sports star like his father and brother, but he finds that he is feeling strange around the time of his 13th birthday party. After suffering an injury and going to the doctor he unexpectedly learns that he is transgender and soon will be transforming into a girl and eventually a woman. At first Jamie finds these changes confusing but as the transformation takes place Jamie will start to realize that he was never an actual boy to begin with, and that she was always meant to be female, but along the way it's going to change her relationships with her friends and family as well as make her a big popular TV star as her transformation is filmed for a new reality TV series showing her transformation from male into female.
