The Famous Captain Walcott is the sequal to Albert of Adelaide and the second novel of the Old Australia trilogy. TJ Walcott, a raccoon from San Francisco has taken up piracy in a land called Old Australia. After a shipwreck, he finds himself in the middle of a war between two groups of marsupials who are killing each other over a question of religious doctrine. Captain Walcott and Albert, a platypus from Adelaide, must put themselves in great danger to try and save a colony of fruit bats who have become victims of the war. Lily, a lover from TJ's past, arrives in Old Australia looking for him and gets caught up in the violence that is sweeping across the land.
