This is a heartwarming, often humorous story of the life of a sibling whose intellectual disability was paired with Tourette Syndrome. In this condition, my sister presented us with an unusual and sometimes refreshing view of life. Kippy was unique; a funny, fascinating, maddening, curious, loving individual for whom brain damage in utero limited both mental and physical abilities. She was also my little sister. Having Tourette Syndrome, she was compelled to give voice to all her thoughts, which were unusual, often humorous, and gave a different way of looking at the world. Both my mother and I made notes of them throughout Kippy’s lifetime. This memoir opens a window into a very unusual mind, much of it in Kippy's own words.
