She has always been on the shy side, but I noticed she's not happy when she comes home from school. She told me she wasn't making friends but was afraid to talk to the other kids. I know it's normal for kids her age to be shy, but I wanted her to have at least the courage to say 'hi' to others so she can make some friends and hopefully come home with a smile on her face.
