Early reviews:"Stunning. Spellbinding. Tremendously enjoyable." Catherine wears many hats these days - from mother to teacher, to historian to author. One of her favorite genres to read and write is historical fiction, and she has authored numerous historical novels and short stories. Her writings have included several novels about Leonardo da Vinci and a short story about the "monuments' men" and their work in Wuerzburg, Germany. Catherine has traveled extensively - throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Her many trips have included following the Lewis and Clark Trail in 2005 with members of her family and volunteering at Jamestown during the four hundred year anniversary in 2007. On a trip back to Panama (her birthplace) in 2008 she started her "Horsey and Friends" series, which she has continued during recent school trips to Washington, D.C. and Virginia. Throughout her travels and her teaching she has found much inspiration for her writing.
