Fast-paced and unforgettable, The Hound of Hell is one hell of a read. Ryan Lanz The Book Review Directory The Hound of Hell by Rory D Nelson is an action-packed adrenaline-fused ride of epic proportions. It's certainly not one for children as it contains multiple descriptions of gruesome deaths and mayhem. Despite that, the novel definitely packs an emotional punch and I felt deeply connected to the characters, despite the fact that many of the protagonists are flawed-beautifully so. I wasn't quite prepared for the novel to leave me where it did and now I'm dying to know what will become of these amazing characters I've grown so attached to. I highly recommend The Hound of Hell by Rory D Nelson to anyone who enjoys a great epic about anti-heroes with an unusual Arthurian twist. For the past 20 years, Rory D Nelson has owned and operated a window cleaning business in Northern California, where he lives happily with his fiancee, Janell, his dogs, Ruger and Cupcake and his cat, Buddy. Rory writes prolifically: numerous comedy shorts, humorous t-shirts and commercial parodies. Many have been sold to Comedy Central. Some of his favorite writers are John Steinbeck, Ann Rice, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Mary Shelley, Sylvia Plath, H.P. Lovecraft and George Orwell. As an accomplished actor, Rory participated in numerous high school productions during his youth. In college, he once fabricated a bong from a hand-held vacuum cleaner. Sadly, that was his greatest achievement in college. When he's not writing or dangling from heights cleaning windows, Rory can be found wine-tasting, body-surfing, exploring California's picturesque coastline, weight-training and binging shows on Netflix. Besides spending time with the love of his life, Janell, Rory's other passion is writing The Brotherhood of Merlin and The Hound of Hell series.
