The topic I want to share with you is something that could transcend if you have the curiosity to pay attention and reflect on aspects of life that perhaps you don’t consider important because no one has talked to you about them or explained them—and here is the purpose of these pages. The central theme is philosophical in nature and concerns the meaning of our existence. My intention with these words is not to indoctrinate you , nor to tell you what you must do. My deeper aim is to invite you to reflect on something more profound—something that gives meaning to life. That is why I simply propose one fact: if you consider Genesis 1:26–27 to be true, then all the pieces of the puzzle will begin to fall into place, one by one. Activating the awareness of my likeness to the Creator in such a unique way begins with freedom—without haste or deception. This single verse of the Bible is enough to strike at the heart of what one must be or do. It is as simple as doing well whatever you have to do. What I want is for you to think, so that you may discover what you ought to do. The rest is simply carrying out the task. Do not assign labels yourself, and do not be distracted by the titles others use to describe something that is not entirely accurate—such as "leftist" or "rightist," "Catholic" or "Evangelical," Black or White, or Red or Brown or Yellow. We all come from the same origin. That is why this book is for you : give yourself the gift of seeing within.
