The Itty Bitty Kitty is a delightful story about a kitty that yearns to make friends with other cats who think she is too small. Author and illustrator Catherine Follestad uses her talents to show how Itty Bitty learns a valuable lesson about friendship in her quest to make friends. This book was written for my granddaughter when she started kindergarden.  She was smaller and younger then most of the kids.  It is a books about not judgeing others by how they look and the message is: you never know who might be your best friend.  The book is relevent for kinder through 2nd grades but even little ones love the beautiful pictures.  The Itty Bitty Kitty is the first in a series of three books.  I hope you will check them out, they all have a special lesson about friendship and caring.  Happy Reading!
