Volume 5 of the Revelations and Translations series, to be published in November 2021, presents all extant fragments of the original manuscript of the Book of Mormon. For the first time ever, researchers will have access to a photograph and color-coded transcripts of each fragment of the manuscript, showing every change made and which scribe made it. Royal Skousen is a volume editor of the Revelations and Translations series of the Joseph Smith Papers. A professor of linguistics and English language at Brigham Young University, he has been the editor of the Book of Mormon Critical Text Project since 1988. Robin Scott Jensen is an associate managing historian for the Joseph Smith Papers and coedited the first four volumes in the Revelations and Translations series. He is also a member of the Church History Department Editorial Board.
