Celtic Brooch Series — Book Two Some loves are written in history. Others are earned in the aftermath. Two months after the events of The Ruby Brooch , Elliott Fraser is still standing—running a world-renowned Kentucky Thoroughbred farm, keeping promises, and carrying a grief that refuses to be rushed. He isn’t looking for love. He’s barely surviving the quiet. Meredith Montgomery , a Napa Valley winery owner and breast cancer survivor, arrives in Elliott’s world carrying her own private reckoning. A genealogical journey to Scotland—and a medical fear she’s not ready to face—sets her on a collision course with a man who understands loss far too well. What begins as guarded companionship deepens into something neither of them planned. But grief has rules. So does healing. And second-chance love demands courage neither of them is sure they still possess. The Last MacKlenna is a contemporary romance that forms the emotional backbone of the Celtic Brooch series—introducing the couple who will anchor the MacKlenna clan for decades to come. 📖 This book does not include time travel. ⏳ Time travel returns in Book Three. A powerful, emotionally grounded romance for readers who believe love doesn’t end—it changes. Katherine grew up in Virginia and Kentucky and attended college in New Jersey, where she earned a BA in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. After attending the Philadelphia Institute for Paralegal Training, she returned to Central Kentucky and worked as a real estate and tax paralegal. Several years ago, Katherine decided to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming an author. Being a childhood fan of THE TIME MACHINE and A CONNECTICUT YANKEE IN KING ARTHUR'S COURT, Katherine wanted to write time travel stories. Being a fan of PERRY MASON, she also wanted to write mysteries. But most of all, influenced by James Michener and having a passion for history, she wanted to write historical novels. Combining those influences, and drawing upon her early experiences working in the medical field, the plot line for her first book was born. Katherine's research has taken her out of the country to England and Scotland and this year to the beaches of Normandy and Paris. Recently, she visited the World War II Museum in New Orleans and the Mighty Eighth Museum in Savannah, and topped the trip off with a flight aboard Texas Raiders, a World War II B-17. Katherine is a marathoner and lives in Lexington, Kentucky. Website: KatherineLLogan.com Facebook: Katherine Lowry Logan, author Twitter: @KathyLLogan
