Have you ever loved God deeply, yet still felt a quiet ache that something was missing... Like, there’s a part of you that believes His promises for everyone but still wonders if they truly apply to you? Maybe you’ve felt unseen, uncertain, or disconnected from the kind of love that doesn’t have to be earned. Sometimes healing begins with a question. For me, it started when a few wise friends gently challenged me to be curious about my heart posture. They asked me to look at things I had never named before. They suggested I get curious about words like orphan spirit and codependent tendencies. Not to label me or define me, but to help me find the me I was looking for. I didn’t know it then, but God was inviting me into a deeper understanding of what it truly means to live as His daughter, not as someone doing her best to earn love, but as one who is already loved! When I talk about an orphan spirit, I don’t mean being without parents. Yet, it’s that subtle belief that we’re on our own... That we have to perform, prove, or protect ourselves to be worthy of love. It’s the quiet and subtle lie that tells us belonging has to be earned instead of received. And when I mention codependent patterns, I’m not describing a label to wear, but a way we sometimes overextend ourselves by trying to fix, rescue, or hold everything together in hopes of finding peace and sometimes love and acceptance. It’s not who we are; it’s how we’ve learned to cope when we forget who we belong to. The Legacy Reset is that story. It’s also an invitation for you to explore your own thoughts and ideas and get curious. This sacred space is where identity meets healing and truth replaces lies. Through honest storytelling, Scripture, reflection, and gentle prompts, you’ll uncover the roots of disconnection, fear, and false identity so you can live from wholeness as a daughter of the Most High God and co-heir with Jesus. This isn’t about fixing yourself or fitting into someone else’s definition of freedom. It’s about letting God reveal who you already are and learning to live your legacy from that place. We must remember to leave a legacy; we must first live it! You can’t live in the fullness of your inheritance from a broken identity. But when you let God heal the places that kept you small, you begin to see what He’s seen in you all along — chosen, seen, loved, and free. Pull up a chair. Take a deep breath. Let’s walk this journey together... It’s time to remember who you’ve always been! “This is more than a book of personal reflection. It’s a companion for the journey from woundedness to wholeness — a reminder that transformation is possible when we let God into the deepest places of our stories.” ~ Earlene Coats Meet Stephanie: I was in my thirties when God showed me something I had forgotten — that as a child, I was once paid not to speak. It stopped me in my tracks. Years later, in my forties, He gently revealed another layer… that as a toddler, I had taken on the lie that I was annoying. Those moments didn’t define me, but they shaped the way I saw myself. For decades, I carried silence like protection, believing that staying quiet kept me safe. The Legacy Reset wasn’t part of my plan. It was part of God’s healing. It’s the story of learning that my voice was never a problem to fix — it was a gift to steward. Every page is a reminder that He never wastes our pain, and that the parts of our story once silenced are often the very places He chooses to speak through. If you’ve ever struggled to believe your story matters or wondered if your voice carries any weight, I get it. I’ve been there. And I promise you... God is still in the business of restoring what the enemy tried to steal.
