Alicia earned a degree in English Writing from Drake University and owns Lakeside Books, an independent bookstore in Lake Geneva. Alicia now lives full-time in Lake Geneva. Stinky Sue is the first book from the Sue Dog Series. Joan Zander Millard grew up near the Ice Age Trail in south-central Wisconsin. At an early age, she was able to explore the trail and its many wonders, developing a love of her natural surroundings and the animals that roam there. This helped stoke an interest in art, which began her lifelong passion for drawing. Joan's professional career has always drawn upon her artistic background. Whether teaching drawing and design, or working for one of the largest advertising agencies in Madison, she continued to draw natural scenery and animals as her favorite pastime. Joan continues to be artistically inspired by the local natural surroundings which influences her art company, ZeeeArts. She and her husband share their rural home with their two sons and many pets in Wisconsin.
