The Mansion is about my first home in college. Most freshmen live in a dorm. Not me, I lived in the carriage house behind a mansion. Everyone called our place The Mansion. Maybe that was because of the wall to wall carpeting and the stucco walls. The parties were not bad either!My studies included a dual major; engineering and having fun. I aced having fun. My first year included spending 10 days in New York City at the NIT Basketball Tournament; and never bothering to rent a room. I learned to water-ski on the Chesapeake Bay. Then on to The Miss America Pageant where I met many of the contestants. Traveling to Cape Cod completed the summer’s trip. I invite you to join me on all these marvelous adventures!As I started my second year, I fell in love with a California girl. That proved to be a disaster!
