The intention of this series of short letters is to facilitate conversations about Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) that may be difficult to start. There is nothing to be ashamed of when you are struggling and seeking help. There are many resources available to help you; just because you have a past doesn't mean you can't have a future. You are not the first or the last to struggle. I promise things can be better. Your Little One, your Fosters, your Care Team, and your support system is here for you. You are amazing. You are loved.
