What if you could live the story of a teenage girl who has two weeks to outwit Mobius, solve the riddles of Ariadne, get through the Centaur Wood, navigate a maze, and battle a Minotaur, all to save little children? Would you think “well that sounds easy enough?” Perhaps you would. But a highly caffeinated author might counter with “but what if there were side quests such as rescuing Stagger Lee, battling various Greek villains, vanquishing inept robbers, shooting archery with Centaurs, and finding a Starbucks?” “Aha!” you might think. Now we have a story worth reading. I certainly hope the author calls it The Munchkin Battles a Minotaur, or something else equally as enticing. You are in luck again, he did.Sound too good to be true? Well, it is a Young Adult fantasy novel. It darn well ought to turn out to be too good to be true. So read on, brave reader, read on.
