A history of the most famous corner in Hollywood; the intersection of Hollywood and Vine. Turns out that famed modernist architect Richard Neutra made no less than two discrete designs for this corner. One from 1926, is a complete mystery, but looks as if it could be a candidate for construction on this site even TODAY! In the course of researching this history because of an error in my book, "The Neutras, Then & Later" where I illustrate dad's 1933 design for Carl Laemmle, I discovered a host of images showing what happened at this corner starting all the way back to the early 1900s. Travel back in time with us, and enjoy!

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
