The Observable Universe explores human wonder and temporality within the backdrop of cosmic and earthly observation. The poems move beyond the narrow confines of self into a wider frame of reference. Love-of people, of nature, of God-is also at the forefront of this collection. From the interior temples we tend to climate collapse to the Webb Telescope studying some of the oldest galaxies, The Observable Universe offers a glimpse into the world of a poet both lost and very much at home on this incredible planet. Hannah Larrabee's Wonder Tissue won the Airlie Press PoetryPrize and was shortlisted for a Massachusetts Book Award. Shehas a recent chapbook of poems, Dear Teilhard, exploring climatechange and spirituality out from Nixes Mate Press. Hannah's hadwork appear in Flypaper Lit, River Heron Review, Gertrude Press, The Maine Review, The Adirondack Review, Glass: A Journal ofPoetry, and elsewhere. Hannah wrote poetry for the NASA JamesWebb Space Telescope program and read her work at GoddardSpace Center. She participated in an Arctic Circle Residency withartists and scientists in October 2022. Hannah received an MFAfrom the University of New Hampshire where she studied withCharles Simic. She taught writing at Northern Essex CommunityCollege and The New Hampshire Institute of Art/New EnglandCollege. (pronouns: she/they) Eileen Cleary is the author of 'Child ward of the Commonwealth' (2019), and ' 2 a.m. with Keats' (Nixes Mate, 2021) and the forthcoming collection. "Wild Pack of the Living" (Nixes Mate, 2024) In addition, she co-edited the anthology ' Voices Amidst the Virus', the featured text at the 2021 Michigan State University Filmetry Festival and founded and is EIC of Lily Poetry review Books and "Lily Poetry Review." Recent work is included or forthcoming in "SWIIM Everyday", "West Texas Literary Review" and "Sugar House Review" and "Tree Lines: 21st Century American Poetry"
