Our Future is not as far away as we think, or hope. In the year 2079, the Earth becomes entangled into someone else’s war, as a merciless alien race known as the T-Challa discovers the Earth as it seeks out its greatest commodity, its people. Their goal is to enslave humanity, forcing them to strip their own world of all its resources to help expand its own empire. However, the Earth is not without hope. The X’ena, who are also a part of this war have sent a symbiotic probe to Earth to help defend it from its fate. This Probe, which takes the name Paladin merges with a human named Caleb Ocoda, as well as an ancient Battleship from a century ago, transforming both into a force to protect the earth. Caleb becomes something much more than any could image, as the ancient Battleship then becomes the most powerful warship ever created in the galaxy.Caleb hastily recruits the most skilled people from the planet to help him battle the T-Challa in a carefully orchestrated plan to save the Earth. Unfortunately, the powerful ship suffers damage during its battle, effecting Caleb, wounding him. It is quickly discovered that Caleb is dying and with him the mighty ship named Paladin, the only defense of earth. After searching all possible answers to save himself and protect the earth, Caleb resolves that he must find these X'ena, in the hopes that they can cure him before his death but time is short and the single ship must travel through the heart of the T-Challa Empire to find the X'ena and save Caleb. Will they succeed? I had recently been asked to simplify my books for those that do not have English as a first language. I had it even more recently pointed out that I went too far simplifying the books, so I've restored them to their original set up. Daniel OConnell is a Mechanic with a dream and a fool hardy but noble idea that he could create something memorable for his children.  The Ocoda Chronicle series is the life work of a man with limited writing skills but an imagination that parallels some of the greatest science fiction writers of our day.  Inspired by the likes of Edgar Rice Burroughs and J Michael Straczynski, Daniel OConnell has crafted a tale unlike many ever written before.  His series has developed over a life time of experiences from all around the world as he crafted this tale to expand our world of heroes to include the next generation of all of us, as our individual races become one.  No longer are heroes the typical stereotype often portrayed in film and literature, by the year 2040 most children born will be of mixed racial background.  Be it half White half Asian, half Latino half Black or any other combination, our heroes are defined by their actions and not the color of there skin.  His hope is this series will allow children of all races to find a hero for them. Caleb yells to Klaus, "Move this ship Klaus! Get us out of range!" Paladin instantly alerts the crew, "We have minor internal damage in the inertial dampers and gravity room. We have four decks without gravity and inertial dampers are completely off line. We cannot move the ship or fire the Heavy cannons. The shock wave will send us reeling out of control." Caleb yells out, asking, "How the hell did we take damage?" Paladin replies, "The blast yield was too high. Minimal damage was taken and it struck the inertial dampers room." Privately Paladin says, "I'm sorry Caleb but my mathematical calculations, are ninety-nine-point seven percent accurate. Fifty-five percent was the highest amount of energy we should have allowed at this distance." "Val!" Caleb calls out over the com, "I need damage control on C deck. Inertial dampers are off line and there's no gravity on that deck either." Val replies, "Ok brother, I'm on it. We'll be there in two minutes." Anders yells out, "We'll be dead in two minutes!" Caleb calls out again on the com, "Onatof, go with Val and assist in any way you can." Paladin calls out battle information, "Heavy cannons will be powered up in ten seconds. Medium cannons are charged and ready. Light cannons are ready and charged. Four torpedoes are loaded and ready to fire set for maximum yield. I highly recommend we wait to fire them until the shields are up in twenty-two seconds." Anders impatiently looks to Caleb. Caleb says,"Fire at will Mr. Anders." The Medium cannons on the port side fire. The blast sends Paladin reeling backwards and twisting around, as the mighty ship is without its inertial dampers to absorb the incredible kickback of Paladins Medium Plasma weapons. Nevertheless,Klaus with great effort and amazing skill holds the ship together, keeping Paladin from rolling and twisting out of control. The port side Medium cannons all hit the Heavy cruiser. Kitanna Cohen calls out, "The T-Challa Heavy cruiser put up its shields before we could hit them. Their shields are only down twenty-two percent. They're holding at seventy-eight percent." Klaus maneuvers Paladin as best he can; trying to give a minimal targ
