Using The Original G.O.A.T Record Keeper is as easy as pie! This record keeper is for all of us crazy goat people, to keep precious details of our small herds in one cozy place. It has pages for goat information, medical records (including 5-point health checks), breeding and kidding information, feed records, vaccinations… and places for pictures. There's also plenty of blank lined pages for you to jot down special observations and notes for each goat (or herd), up to 10 goats per book. A book for keeping records on your goats is a must have, and this journal is easy to carry with you to write down details and notes immediately, rather than having to write notes on scraps of paper and then rewrite the notes later when you return to your house. There is also places for details about your herd and veterinarian, to assist anyone who might be watching your herd, should you happen to have a goat sitter. In the goat information pages, you can fill in all the basic details for each of your goats, like their sex, breed, registration info, and even a cute photo. The 5-point health check page is perfect for keeping track of each goats health checks. Just record the date, FAMACHA score, bottle jaw score, body condition score, scours observations (DAG), and overall visual score. The 5-Point Health Check Records also include a location to track the goats hooves. The medical information page is where you can keep track of any injuries, illnesses, diagnoses, treatments, and testing records for each goat. On the breeding and kidding record pages, you can document each doe's breeding history, the bucks involved, breeding dates, expected kidding dates, notes on birthing, and all about the little ones. The herd record pages (at the end) include pages to track medications on hand, and extra note pages for the herd in general. A special thanks to Birchberry Farm and Brittany Lee for offering the great cover photos, and to Maria Mathis-Kruser for assisting with photo editing and design.
