After five additional years of metal detecting and researching the Treasure Coast, I am only more convinced about what we don't know. Of the 1715 Fleet locations found, none can be convincingly identified. There have been many best guesses when naming these wrecks, and the maps in my previous book, The Reale Deal – Metal Detecting the Florida Treasure Coast, have been acknowledged as the most accurate assumption. There have not been any 1715 Fleet ships identified by a bell or other method mentioned in this book. I have found other shipwreck beaches using the methods discussed in this book. The religious artifact is from one of them. It will take lengthy research to identify that artifact and its period; knowing this information may help identify the wreck's name. Members of the Treasure Coast Archeological Society (TCAS) have successfully found cobs dating from the 1500s to the 1800s, identifying additional wreck site beaches. I hope the information in this book is helpful to you in finding your shipwreck beach. The Reale Deal Metal Detecting the Florida Treasure Coast books are available at: Mel Fishers Treasure Museum, McLarty Treasure Museum, Myers Detectors, Reilly’s Treasure Gold, Diggin It Detectors, and American Digger Magazine. Happy Hunting, and always remember: "IF BEER TABS WERE DOUBLOONS, I WOULD BE ONE RICH PIRATE”

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
