My inspiration for writing The Rising Storm comes from those around me who battle prejudices every day and also those who challenge themselves to talk, listen, and grow, even when it's not easy. The Rising Storm is a story where the central characters represent and articulate many of the common viewpoints surrounding the issues of religion and homosexuality, from all sides.
