Druecker Quality Systems Manager - TS 16949 Mgt. Rep. ASQ: CMQ/OE, CQE, CQA, CSSGB . O&K American Jeremy Hazel, Plexus International At the age of 18 Jeremy started working in the automotive industry, pushing buttons on the assembly line of a batch chemical manufacturing company in the safety critical arena. A few years in, after he made it to manufacturing supervisor, Jeremy moved into off shift quality and began taking American Society for Quality courses. During that time, he had his first profound realization: Jeremy realized that there was a gap between the academics of quality and the financial side of business...and he wanted to change that. Jeremy attended Central Washington University night school earning his Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management and Corporate Finance. He then moved into systems engineering during the last days of QS-9000. Jeremy led a facility through TS 16949, before leaving to pursue a corporate role in machining and metal forming for plants in North America. During that time, Jeremy reworked antiquated systems, created greenfield systems and revised corporate structures to allow the plants the flexibility to work within a corporate QMS structure. He continued his studying, earning an MBA from Upper Iowa University with a specialization in Quality Management and becoming a Six Sigma Black Belt. He then had the second profound realization of his career: The plant is where the action is happening; this is where the difference is made. He had to be that bridge between the management and the plant. Jeremy left the corporate world and went back to the manufacturing floor where he gained an education in leadership that was not taught at college. It needed to be shared. So in 2012 Jeremy began a consulting career and branched out into other industries (defense, medical collections, and retail) before landing a position with Plexus International, with whom he is currently, and he could not be happier. Currently, Jeremy teaches systems and quality related subjects through Plexus International and specializes in on-site implementation for problem sites. He also delivers leadership training through his own company Learning to Leading. GOAL/QPC Since 1995 GOAL/QPC has been a leader in the world of Quality Management.
