Wayland the Smith is a legendary master blacksmith from Germanic and Norse mythology, famous for creating weapons, armor, and treasures of unparalleled quality. His skill of the supernatural craftsman is so great, that it is often considered near-magical, even if the stories do not explicitly call Wayland a god. After the young Wayland completes his apprenticeship in blacksmithing with evil dwarves, he lives with his brothers until one day King Nidud enslaves him. For many years Wayland is forced to forge treasures and weapons for King Nidud's court, but when the opportunity for revenge arises, Wayland kills the king's sons and flies away on wings, crafted from the feathers of Valkyries.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
