Three teenage girls—Jasmine, Ava, and Rachel—arrive in the mysterious, quiet coastal town of Merriton Bay for an unsupervised vacation. They discover an unusual two-faced building called The Side, split into two entrances: The Spa Side and The Restaurant Side, with a strange rule posted between them: “Choose Your Side. Do Not Divide. Leave Together.” They enter the Spa Side, welcomed by a serene yet unnerving atmosphere and an enigmatic old woman. As they undergo luxurious treatments meant to relax and “release” them, Ava becomes fixated on a glowing pink drink visible through a hallway window—positioned exactly between the spa and the restaurant. Despite warnings and unease, her obsession drives her to break the rule and cross into the other side. The moment Ava touches the drink, the building transforms. Doors vanish, walls seal, and the spa reveals its dark undercurrents. She encounters a distorted, monstrous version of the spa’s hostess who tells her ominously: “You crossed. You shouldn’t have.” Ava flees into the Restaurant Side, only to find it equally eerie—filled with silent patrons, a blind hostess, and a demand that she leave immediately or stay forever. Eventually, Ava returns to the spa and her friends, only to insist she still feels drawn to the other side. Against Rachel and Jasmine’s pleas, Ava re-enters the restaurant alone. Thunder cracks. Something shifts.
