Ojibwe grandmother, Mona Marshall, recounts an old legend about a boy who was mysteriously rescued from freezing to death in a snow storm. Mona points to The Creator as the boy's true rescuer, and sprinkles her story with Bible verses that encourage children to look to their Creator for help and rescue in the storms of life. Mona Marshall, an enrolled member of the Minnesota White Earth Ojibwe tribe, is a self taught artists who enjoys writing and illustrating stories about animals. She has been a dog obedience instructor and exhibitor, a pet portrait artist, and a professional pet sitter. She is the co-founder and CEO of The American Mixed Breed Obedience Registration (AMBOR), and resides in Clark South Dakota with her two dogs, Brodie and Willie.
