In this sequel to The Tannenbaum Tailors and the Secret Snowball , the Spiritless seek revenge for Captain Brendan tricking them into thinking they had the Secret Snowball in their possession. This epic and spirited tale starts out two thousand years ago, when three bearded men—the Brethren of the Saints—plant a sparkling pinecone that will become the Home Tree, the center of the Tailor nation. They then continue on their journey to deliver gifts to a very special newborn child… Flash forward to the 1980s, the battle between the Spiritless and the Tailors rages. Captain Brendan is imprisoned for telling a human boy about the Tailors, so the rest of the gang continue his search for Number One, the evil Spiritless leader. And Tonto mysteriously disappears… Jane and Coco are sent on a mission to the South Pole, but Jane is captured, Santa’s been kidnapped, and it’s up to Coco to get help back at the North Pole. Get ready for a reindeer ride that culminates in a battle in Santa’s bedroom amid the coal-flinging Spiritless. Oh—and don’t forget the Home Tree. It’s been poisoned! Is Christmas doomed? In this fun-filled and crazy Christmas adventure, anything is possible! "A lively tale whose highly skilled, pint-sized heroes provide endless fun." - Kirkus Reviews "FIVE STARS: "Michaels is beyond imaginative; he takes the reader into a realm of marvel and wonder. The story is spunky, witty, humorous and filled with endless action. There is never a dull moment. It contains surprising, precisely timed turns of events which heighten the suspense. Furthermore, inspiring truths are woven into the fabric of the plot; forgiveness, the power of love to conquer evil, the resolve to fight when all seems lost, the true meaning of family and the importance of remembering and honoring the sacrifice of others."- Cheryl Rodriguez for Readers' Favorite "FIVE STARS: "Michaels elevates his characters to epic-hero size, no matter how tiny their actual footprints on the world, and their feats of bravery and daring make this action-packed and exciting novel well worth reading."- Jack Magnus for Readers' Favorite FIVE STARS: The Tannenbaum Tailors and the Brethren of the Saints Volume 2 by JB Michaels is definitely meant to be read after reading book one in the series, however, I was able to understand the main points of the story quickly without too many problems. The Tannenbaum Tailors and the Brethren of the Saints Volume 2 will truly pull children in with its wondrous characters and plot. I liked the idea of the Tailors and the Spiritless; it made for an interesting story line. I think my favorite character, however, would have to be Jack. I just enjoyed how he kept fighting the good fight to try to protect the magic of Christmas against the Spiritless, even when all hope seemed lost. I hope that The Tannenbaum Tailors and the Brethren of the Saints Volume 2 by JB Michaels is not the last book in the series as I believe that children would truly enjoy more books.- Reviewed by Sefina Hawke for Readers' Favorite When I set out to write the sequels to the Tannenbaum Tailors and the Secret Snowball I thought about it as a trilogy. I even wrote a second book called the GlimmerBeam Gambit in 2008. Alas, GlimmerBeam was not nearly long enough for a full book! Ah! I would not even realize that until much later like last year for reals. Anyway, I would then go on to write the third book the Brethren of the Saints during 2009 and 2010. Brethren was longer and could be a full novel if it needed to be. So when Secret Snowball was released I thought about what to do with GlimmerBeam. Do I add more to it? Do I drop it? What do I do?  I then decided to combine Glimmerbeam Gambit with the Brethren of the Saints and just call the sequel: The Tannenbaum Tailors and the Brethren of the Saints. So when you read this book know that it is actually two whole stories in one volume!  Lastly, I am so proud of this story. I really feel like this story is some of my best work. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it. Always believe in yourself and your dreams.
